Full Job Description

Job Title: Mental Health Clinical Administrator

Job Description: FairSky Foundation is looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Psychologist (LP), to help oversee our Ferndale, Detroit, Plymouth and Ypsilanti offices, as well as to support the creation, and then oversee, a targeted client insurance advocacy program. Must have an intrinsic commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration, professional ethics, and cultivating the art and science of counseling/psychotherapy.

The position—which can be either 3/4s (30 hours) or full time (40 hours) workload status—will consist of approximately 60% clinical work (e.g. psychotherapy) and 40% administrative work (e.g. networking, case management/advocacy program oversight). Compensation is a combination of a standard salary for admin work, and for clinical work, a unique W2 fee-split model, which combines the stability of a salary, with the autonomous earning potential of fee-split.

Specialization in child/family therapy, substance misuse treatment, creative arts therapy, psychoanalysis, ACT, DBT, trauma-informed therapy or other areas of professional interest are especially welcome.

Main duties will include:

· Clinical work with individuals, couples, groups, and/or families;

· Co-creation & oversight of a narrowly-scoped Medicaid case management/advocacy program;

· Policy and procedure creation and implementation;

· Organization networking with potential local community partners;

· Physical location support (along with the office manager)

Other Possible Duties:

(Dependent on organizational need & candidates’ interest and qualifications)

· Clinical supervision;

· Formal evaluations and psychological testing;

· Masters and Doctoral student practicum, field placement and internship training;

· Post-Master and Doctoral clinical training;

· Continuing Education facilitation;

· Clinician documentation review.

Required Qualifications

· Active full Michigan license (LMFT; LMSW; LPC; LP);

· Organizational networking experience;

· Case management and/or social advocacy experience;

· Basic knowledge of Medicaid insurance processes;

· Strong working knowledge of professional code of ethics;

· Commitment to supportive, authoritative, and collaborative leadership approaches;

· Flexibility to move between differing tasks;

· Ability to work independently, within small teams and a larger community;

· Dedication to humanistic and humanitarian values, including compassion, fairness, cooperation, democracy, and inclusivity.

Pay: approximately $60,000 - $120,000 per year (dependent on clinical experience, licensure & 3/4s or FT workload status).
