Full Job Description

Luther Park Community is seeking a customer focused individual to provide a positive dining experience to our residents, guests, visitors and employees at the Trinity Center. Luther Park Community is known for its excellence in understanding and meeting the needs of our elderly and aging population, especially in the area of Dementia care. The dietary team supports this mission through superior meal time service, regular activity and sporadic healthy snack options, special holiday meals, catered events, Board of Director functions and employee appreciation meals. It is the mission of the Dietary Department to serve all who enter the Luther Park Community with kindness and quality.

The dietary supervisor is responsible for guiding the team to ensure the highest quality, appealing meals are served to our customers. This position will assist with catering events for the community as well as prepare staff schedules, ordering food and supplies, performing weekly audits to ensure cleaning, temperature, sanitation and maintenance logs are accurate and complete.

Requirements:

Must have two years of food production experience, healthcare foodservice preferred

Must be able to read, write & understand the English language

Able to safely and consistently complete tasks that are physically demanding

Must follow all safety procedures

Participate in the on call rotation

Assist in hiring, training, coaching evaluating staff and completing discipline when warranted

Assists with orders

Multi-task and/or manage time effectively to meet expectation and deadlines

Maintain confidentiality of resident health information

Ensure highest quality, appealing meals served at desired temps, properly portioned, recipes followed, diets honored choices offered stepping in to assist and/or train as needed

Full Time 8 hour shifts
