Executive Housekeeper for a Private Residence

Upper East Side, NYC

A warm, appreciative New York City family is seeking an exceptional Executive Housekeeper to help lead the smooth, polished operation of their Upper East Side home .

This is a terrific opportunity for a highly capable, hands-on professional who loves creating order, setting high standards, and bringing out the best in a household team. The principals have pre-teen children and one small hypoallergenic dog, and they value excellence delivered with warmth, flexibility, and good judgment.

The right candidate is a natural leader and mentor: confident enough to take ownership, humble enough to work side-by-side with the team, and skilled at improving systems in a calm, collaborative way.

The residence is in a full-service luxury building on the Upper East Side. Immediate interviews are available.

What You'll Do:

Take ownership of daily housekeeping, deep cleaning, organization, and the overall presentation of the residence.
Care expertly for fine furnishings, surfaces, linens, delicate garments, wardrobes, closets, and household storage areas.
Keep supplies, toiletries, pantry items, cleaning products, and household systems well organized and consistently stocked.
Work hands-on with the existing team, modeling best practices, mentoring staff, and helping refine routines and standards.
Anticipate the family's preferences and help schedule the team to support privacy, efficiency, and a beautifully run home.

What We're Looking For:

Significant experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior-level Housekeeper in a high-standard private home.
A true hands-on leader with strong judgment, high EQ, and a proven ability to mentor and develop a team.
Outstanding organization, discretion, communication skills, and attention to detail.
A positive, flexible, no-job-too-small attitude suited to a relaxed household culture with very high expectations.
Excellent, verifiable references.

Schedule

MondayFriday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Some days will start at 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm if there is a dinner planned.
Flexibility required for some extended hours, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

Salary range $130,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience
