Job Summary
micro1 is engaging Architects with expertise in CAD and Construction Documentation to contribute to a high-impact AI training project for a customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
This is an hourly-paid contract opportunity for professionals with strong architectural drafting, technical documentation, and CAD experience. You will help develop and evaluate high-quality engineering and architectural documentation that improves AI reasoning across design, construction, and documentation workflows.
No prior AI experience is required. Your architectural expertise and technical documentation skills are what matter most.
Scope of Work
- Create detailed architectural floor plans, elevations, and construction documentation based on project requirements.
- Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural and engineering applications.
- Prepare precise Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts for technical and manufacturing documentation.
- Produce, review, and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics in accordance with industry standards.
- Design, review, and validate PCB layouts while applying best practices for manufacturability and functionality.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and resolve design questions.
- Deliver complete documentation packages that meet project milestones, quality standards, and technical specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent experience in architectural CAD, drafting, and construction documentation.
- Proficiency with industry-standard CAD software for 2D and 3D architectural design and PCB layout tools.
- Experience creating and interpreting GD&T callouts and complex engineering documentation.
- Experience developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts into technical projects.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills when managing complex drawing sets and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary or cross-functional engineering projects is a plus.
