We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join our team as Park Mascot and Special Events Hosts. This position is ideal for candidates who are friendly, outgoing, and enjoy interacting with children, families, and team members in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Primary responsibilities include performing as our park mascot, Slick Duck, as well as serving as a mascot escort. Team members in this role will participate in meet-and-greet activities with park guests and represent the park at both on-site and off-site events. We will be having foam parties, and the mascot team will play a crucial role in the celebration by setting up the foam party and hosting it.
Additional duties include organizing and facilitating special events throughout the season—including Foam Parties, birthday parties, games, and other guest engagement activities. At times you might be asked to assist with bag check at the front gate. This role requires a high level of teamwork, creativity, and the ability to manage logistics for both scheduled events and spontaneous in-park entertainment.
Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older
Comfortable working in costume for extended periods in outdoor conditions, including extreme heat.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and move easily on uneven terrain
Height requirement: 5’2” to 5’11” (due to costume sizing constraints)
Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
Previous experience as a mascot or performer is preferred
Theater, dance, or entertainment background is considered a plus
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through on event plans and schedules
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
