Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations on stainless steel and carbon steel. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and quality of fabricated parts and assemblies, adhering to strict safety standards and industry codes. Used Tank Sales, Inc. refurbishes and delivers high-quality steel tanks. We’re hiring a Welder who takes pride in precision, safety, and craftsmanship. You must be someone who takes pride in their work ethics and has excellent attendance.

Duties

Perform Dual shield flux, stick, MIG, TIG and welding on steel tanks and components
Fit, modify, and repair tank parts per basic drawings and instructions
Grind, bevel, and prep materials; verify measurements and weld quality
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Collaborate with operations to meet project deadlines

Skills

Proficiency in Dual shield flux, stick, MIG, TIG, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with precision; familiarity with schematics for mechanical systems is a plus.
Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
Strong attention to detail, quality and safety.
Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy materials safely using cranes or forklifts; basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading and manufacturing practices.
Familiarity with standards governing welding practices; experience working in a manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Skills

Forklift operations
Machine repair skills
Surface prep for painting on metal (i.e. grinding/sandblasting)

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
