Oral Surgery Assistant

Location: Central Valley, CA (Fresno, Visalia, Tulare)
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 1+ year preferred in oral surgery or dental assisting
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Travel Required: Yes

We are currently looking for a motivated and adaptable Oral Surgery Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to travel between our office locations. If you're a proactive thinker who communicates clearly and wants to be part of a supportive team with opportunities to grow — we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures including implants, extractions, and IV sedation cases
Set up and break down surgical rooms with attention to sterilization and infection control protocols
Monitor and support patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
Accurately document patient information, charting, and post-op instructions
Ensure instruments and equipment are maintained, sterilized, and organized
Travel between practice locations as needed based on scheduling and patient flow
Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and team members to ensure smooth operations
Support team initiatives and actively participate in practice improvement efforts
