Full Job Description

Silvas Oil Company, Inc. is seeking a qualified Accountant/Bookkeeper to work in our Corporate office Located in Fresno, CA.

Our ideal candidate must have exceptional organizational skills, can work independently, self-motivated and self-disciplined. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential job functions:

Ability to process accounts payable and receivables

Conduct bank reconciliations and account analysis

Assist with taxes and tax preparation

Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

Assist with fixed asset, depreciation, prepaid and accrued liability

Maintain accounting worksheets, schedules and reports

Maintain confidentiality of financial information

Conduct data entry with high precision, including 10 key, typing and bookkeeping

Other relevant duties as assigned

Skills and experience

5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounting or financial field

Dependable, punctual and ability to perform at a professional level

Proficient in Microsoft excel

Experience with data analysis using Excel for reporting

Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong attention to detail for precise account analysis and reconciliation tasks

This is a full-time position with a benefit package including 401k, paid vacation, sick time, Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance available.
