Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeper and Front Desk Clerk, where you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. This energetic position combines the essential duties of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards with providing exceptional front desk service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure guests feel comfortable, cared for, and eager to return. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment
Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a secure environment
Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
Manage janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning tools are maintained in excellent condition
Greet guests warmly at the front desk, check-in/check-out procedures, and respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests
Maintain accurate records of guest stays, reservations, and billing information using hotel management software
Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety during incidents or emergencies

Requirements

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial/industrial cleaning roles with a strong understanding of hospitality standards
Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to handle unforeseen situations effectively
Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of cleaning supplies or furniture safely
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques to uphold high cleanliness standards
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor suitable for front desk interactions
Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly by adhering to SDS guidelines and safety procedures
Previous janitorial experience or hotel housekeeping management experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
