Job Summary
The Differential Response (DR) Program is a voluntary, prevention-focused program designed to strengthen family functioning, enhance child safety, and reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect. The program uses a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and family-centered approach to connect families with supportive services, case management, and community resources that promote stability and long-term well-being.
The DR Case Manager Supervisor provides leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for Case Managers within the program. This role ensures services are delivered in accordance with agency policies, Fresno County contract requirements, and best practices, with a strong emphasis on family strengths, child safety, and service quality.
The Supervisor is responsible for coaching and developing staff, reviewing case documentation for quality and compliance, ensuring accurate data reporting, and supporting collaboration with community partners. This position plays a key role in maintaining program integrity, strengthening service delivery, and supporting positive outcomes for children and families.
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, or related field required
· A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience providing direct services to children and families is required
· Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
· Bilingual in English and Spanish required
· Valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation, current insurance, and acceptable DMV record
· Responsible for compliance with California Mandated Reporter requirements, including ensuring timely reporting of any suspected child abuse or neglect and providing guidance to staff on mandated reporting procedures in accordance with state law and agency policy
· Ability to successfully pass required background checks, including DOJ/FBI Live Scan fingerprint clearance.

Supervision & Leadership
· Supervise, coach, and support Case Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery
· Conduct regular supervision meetings and performance evaluations
· Monitor caseloads, productivity, and service timelines
· Support onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development
Program Oversight & Quality Assurance
· Ensure compliance with agency policies, contracts, and applicable regulations
· Review and approve case documentation and electronic case management (ETO) entries
· Monitor program outcomes and support continuous quality improvement
Client & Family Services Support
· Provide consultation and support for complex cases and crises
· Ensure families receive appropriate assessments, referrals, and services
· Conduct field visits and home visits as needed to support staff and service quality
Documentation & Reporting
· Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation and reporting
· Monitor case file compliance and data integrity
· Prepare program reports for county, agency leadership, and funding sources
Work Environment
· Monday–Friday (30 hours/week)
· Flexible schedule required, including occasional evenings and weekends
· Local travel required for home visits, meetings, and community engagement activities.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
