Are you ready to launch your career at the forefront of firearms innovation? KelTec is seeking enthusiastic, mechanically minded individuals to join our team as Career Starter CNC Machine Operators in our Cocoa, Florida facility.

This entry-level role puts you right in the heart of manufacturing the next generation of high-performance, groundbreaking firearms. From ultra-compact pistols and folding carbines to revolutionary bullpup designs and high-capacity platforms, you'll gain hands-on experience operating state-of-the-art CNC milling machines to produce the precision components that define KelTec's reputation for disruptive engineering.

No prior experience is required — just a passion for American manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and a drive to help build the innovative firearms that secure your world. Duties

Operate advanced CNC machines, ensuring precise tooling setup, machine calibration, and optimal performance for tight-tolerance firearm components.
Read and interpret complex technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and detailed manufacturing specifications to machine parts that meet KelTec's rigorous standards for innovation and reliability.
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools — calipers, micrometers, gauges, and more — to verify every dimension and feature supports flawless firearm function.
Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC equipment to keep production running smoothly in our fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Safely handle raw materials and machined components throughout the facility, including the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while strictly following all safety protocols, 5S principles, and KelTec's commitment to quality at every step.

Experience

Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required — we provide comprehensive training for motivated candidates who show potential.
Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication processes is a plus.
Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation are essential to hit the precision levels demanded in next-generation firearms manufacturing.
