We have an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about the Manufacturing industry. As a Sheet Production Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment used to manufacture sheet materials in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role ensures consistent product quality, maximizes machine efficiency, and adheres to safety and production standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Set up machines according to job specifications (material type, thickness, width, temperature, speed)
· Monitor production runs and make real-time adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency
· Inspect products using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers) to ensure compliance with specifications
· Identify and correct defects such as warping, uneven thickness, or surface imperfections
· Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance
· Troubleshoot equipment or process issues and coordinate with maintenance when needed
· Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and proper PPE use
· Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with lean manufacturing principles
· Assist with material handling, including loading raw materials and packaging finished sheets
· Support continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity and reduce waste
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualification Requirements
· Experience in sheet production is a plus
· Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and technical specifications
· Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking systems
· Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
· Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Good communication and teamwork
· Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts is a plus
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or GED required
· 1–3 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Work Environment
· Manufacturing/industrial setting
· Standing for extended periods
· Exposure to machinery, adhesives, dust, and noise
· Requires standing, lifting, and frequent movement on the production floor
· Use of PPE required
· Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
