Coastal Community Church is one church in four Florida locations and was ranked No. 7 on Outreach Magazine's 2025 list of America's fastest-growing churches. We are hiring a full-time Worship Leader (Worship Pastor) for our Cocoa location on Florida's Space Coast.
About the role
This is a leadership role, not only a musical one. You will lead contemporary worship for weekend services and develop a growing team of musicians, vocalists, and production volunteers - with the coaching, systems, and resources of an established multi-location church behind you.
Responsibilities
- Lead worship for weekend services, special events, and ministry gatherings
- Plan and execute worship sets, arrangements, rehearsals, and service transitions
- Recruit, audition, schedule, and develop volunteer musicians, vocalists, and production team members
- Train and develop additional worship leaders and band leaders
- Coordinate with production staff on audio, lighting, video, lyrics, and backing tracks
- Manage music preparation, scheduling, and volunteer communication (Planning Center)
- Provide pastoral care and spiritual leadership to the worship team
Qualifications
- Strong lead vocalist; proficient on at least one primary instrument, preferably guitar or keys
- Typically 3+ years of worship-ministry leadership experience; equivalent demonstrated experience considered
- Experience recruiting volunteers, building teams, and developing leaders
- Working knowledge of contemporary worship production: Ableton Live and/or Logic Pro, Planning Center, tracks, click, in-ears
- A growing personal relationship with Jesus and character consistent with pastoral ministry
- Ability to fully support Coastal Community Church's statement of faith, ministry philosophy, and standards of conduct (religious organization; this role is ministerial)
- Ministry or music degree welcomed but not required

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
