Full Job Description

TriMetrix Manufacturing is a precision Swiss CNC machine shop specializing in high-tolerance, high-volume components for medical, aerospace & defense, space, and energy industries. We run a growing fleet of advanced Citizen Swiss CNC lathes (A16, C16, L20 & M32 series) with automatic bar feeders, producing parts from 1 mm to 32 mm diameter in materials ranging from stainless steels and titanium to exotic alloys and plastics.

Position Overview

We are hiring entry-level team members who want to learn Swiss-type CNC machining from the ground up. No prior Swiss machining experience is required — we will train the right people. This is a hands-on production role focused on operating and supporting our Citizen Swiss machines while building real machining skills.

What You’ll Do

Learn to set up, operate, and monitor Citizen Swiss CNC lathes
Load bar stock, change tools, and perform basic offsets under guidance
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and other precision measuring tools
Deburr parts to remove sharp edges and ensure quality finishes
Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow standard operating procedures
Support continuous production runs (including unattended operation with bar feeders)
Assist with second-operation work on Hardinge turret lathes as needed
Follow all safety, quality, and documentation standards

What We’re Looking For

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn precision manufacturing
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a production environment
Basic math skills (decimals, fractions, simple geometry)
Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40–50 lbs
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior machine shop, manufacturing, or technical experience is a plus but not required
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a small, growing team
