CPA / Firm Manager — Cody, Wyoming

Base Salary: $120,000 + Profit Sharing
Location: Cody, WY (relocation assistance available)
Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a CPA (or CPA candidate) ready to step into a leadership role running the day-to-day operations of an established, growing accounting practice in Cody, Wyoming.

This is a rare chance to take on real ownership and responsibility early in your career — running client relationships, tax work, and firm operations — with the mentorship and training to set you up for long-term success, including a path toward equity/ownership over time.

You’ll be trained directly by an experienced CPA and supported by existing staff during a structured onboarding period, so you’re set up to succeed from day one — this is not a “figure it out alone” role.

What You’ll Do

Run and manage the day-to-day operations of the firm
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
Meet directly with clients to manage relationships and advise on tax and financial matters
Occasional bookkeeping support for clients
Oversee firm workflow, staff, and client service standards

What We’re Looking For

Active CPA license required
Strong technical foundation in tax preparation and accounting
Comfortable meeting with clients and building trust quickly
Self-starter who wants ownership and responsibility, not just a paycheck
Willingness to relocate to Cody, Wyoming (relocation assistance provided)

Compensation & Benefits

$120,000 base salary
Profit sharing
