Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently! In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring that dishes are spotless, food prep areas are sanitized, and kitchen equipment is maintained to the highest standards. Your dedication will directly contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients according to safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including counters, floors, sinks, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines
Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests
Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, slicers, and food prep tools
Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques
Follow all sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Basic knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety standards
Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and front-of-house team members
