About the Role
Awaken Creative is looking for a dependable, organized, and teachable Communications & Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Coeur d’Alene office.
This position will play an important role in keeping our day-to-day operations organized and moving forward. You’ll help manage incoming communication, scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks while also helping the owner stay organized and focused on the highest-priority areas of the business.
While this is primarily an administrative and communications position, we are a creative marketing company, so there will also be opportunities to assist with marketing and creative-related tasks.
We’re looking for someone who is efficient, dependable, comfortable taking initiative, and willing to learn. You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be someone who can learn quickly, stay organized, and follow through.
Responsibilities

- Assisting with basic marketing and creative tasks
- Communicating professionally with clients, prospects, vendors, and team members
- Helping with miscellaneous projects and last-minute needs as they arise
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks that keep daily operations running smoothly
Because we are a growing small business, this position may occasionally include responsibilities outside of a traditional receptionist or administrative role. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable jumping in and helping where needed.
