Full Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate production equipment, monitor machine performance, and ensure products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will follow safety procedures, perform routine maintenance, and work effectively as part of a production team.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor extrusion, converting, printing, laminating, or related production equipment.
Set up machines according to production orders and specifications.
Load raw materials and ensure proper material feeding.
Adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature, tension, pressure, and alignment.
Inspect finished film for quality, defects, dimensions, and appearance.
Use gauges, measuring tools, and production equipment to verify specifications.
Troubleshoot minor machine problems and make adjustments to maintain production.
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
Safely remove and replace rolls, cores, tooling, and other machine components.
Record production quantities, scrap, downtime, and quality information.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
Communicate equipment or quality problems to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
Meet production schedules while maintaining product quality.

Skills:

Manufacturing or machine-operation experience.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read production specifications.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to troubleshoot machinery.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work around moving machinery and industrial equipment.
Ability to lift and handle materials.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, or rotating shifts, depending on the plant.

This is a full-time position in a warehouse environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour
