We are seeking a Director of Nursing to join our team at Atlanta, GA.

QUALIFICATIONS: A track record of experience in the Healthcare field. Prior management role is a bonus. Positive attitude with compassion and patience. RN Nursing License and above is required with clinical nurse leadership role.

POSITION SUMMARY: Manages the quality of skilled services provided by the company. Oversees the overall nursing operation of the company, as well as administrative tasks.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must enjoy the challenges of solving scheduling puzzles and enjoy working with people with diverse culture and language.

· Strong communication sills (both written and oral).

· Great analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong organizational and time management skills are critical – must be able to adhere to deadlines, multi-task and prioritize.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

· Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a fast and demanding environment.

· Detail oriented: an attention to detail for task with a zero tolerance for errors.

· Must be ethical, with strong values and principals.

· Must be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills

· Must be proficient in Word, Quick books, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Overview: The Director of Nursing will be required to do the following:

· Attend to all calls about patients

· Supervise all nurses – RN. LPN, CNAs

· Conduct Assessments and reassessments

· Ensure agency is maintaining highest standards and in compliance with state/Medicaid policies

· Assist with Quality Assurance

· Assist with Intake

· Review all skilled nursing notes weekly for accuracy and proper documentation

· Participates in all aspects of care, including an ongoing multidisciplinary evaluation and development of care plan. Initiates patients care conferences for complex whenever needed.

· Evaluate client status and level of care to identity/nullify service continuity

· Perform supervisory visits for all skilled service when necessary. This can also be achieved by ensuring all RNs/LPNs submit summary reports where applicable on all patients they service every 3 days

· Review, sign and date all service record forms (skilled and unskilled)

· Follow-up with client/MD on orders

· Ensure all client services are done strictly by the MD orders and ensure there is documentation of changes in such orders where necessary

· Handle conflict resolutions between agency, referral sources, staff and patients

· Organize quarterly in-service training for skilled nurses to update them on policy changes, matters arising, training and measures on how to maintain quality or service

· Medication management for all clients

· Be involved with discharge planning

· Be on call during workdays, on weekends for all call outs and client issues. Calls must be responded to within 30mins of the call. Please note that good judgment should be applied with emergency cases.

· Work hand in hand with the nursing supervisor and give detailed reports on all patients to the manager

· Teaches, supervises, and counsels patients and family regarding home health nursing procedures and other care needs as appropriate to the patient’s condition. Utilizes education material as appropriate.

· Any other duty specified by manager or administrator

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Ensure quality assurance for the company
Monitoring and supervising all policy changes and updates for the company
Adheres to FSA’s policies and procedures as well as other necessary company program policies and procedures on duties related to this office to ensure compliance.
Handle all Issues/queries resolved in a timely manner-within 4-24hrs.
Attends case conferences, team meeting, and education in-services as required.
Carry out on-site visitation as needed
Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, and reliability are imperative
Maintains and ensures all deadlines are met. Must be flexible and display initiative in working on new tasks.
