Full Job Description

Job Overview

JackRabbit Manufacturing is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Coordinator to join our Fabrication team. This position coordinates CNC jobs from planning through completion and helps ensure parts are programmed and produced accurately to customer specifications.

The CNC Coordinator works between engineering and shop operations to keep CNC work organized, machines ready for production, and jobs moving efficiently. This is a hands-on, on-site manufacturing position that combines CNC programming and machine support with job coordination, quality control, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee CNC-related jobs from start through completion.
Review drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine CNC requirements.
Schedule and prioritize CNC work to support production needs.
Prepare, review, and modify CNC programs as required.
Support setup and operation of CNC equipment, including plasma table, router, and other CNC equipment.
Troubleshoot CNC software, programming, and machine issues.
Verify CNC-cut parts meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Identify errors or inefficiencies before parts move to downstream operations.
Maintain accurate CNC job, machine usage, maintenance, and program revision records.
Assist with inventory tracking for CNC materials and consumables.
Maintain a clean, organized CNC work area and follow company safety procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with CNC machinery in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with CNC programming and machine operation preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and CNC files.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar programs.
Ability to read a tape measure and work to precise tolerances.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with production and leadership.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing/shop environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Comfortable working around typical manufacturing conditions, including heat, noise, and dust.

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time, 40+ hours per week
Monday–Friday
7:30 AM–5:30 PM
On-site position

What Success Looks Like

Successful performance in this position means CNC jobs are completed accurately and on schedule, programs and setups minimize rework and waste, machine downtime is reduced through proactive coordination, and communication between CNC operations, production, and leadership remains clear and effective.

Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
