Full Job Description

Territory Sales Representative – Bulk Feed

Pay: $55,000 Base Salary + Commission

A growing agricultural company is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Territory Sales Representative to help establish and grow our bulk feed business throughout the Brazos Valley and East-Central Texas.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys developing new business, building long-term customer relationships, and helping grow a business. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the territory and turn opportunities into lasting customer partnerships.

Our customers include ranchers, livestock producers, agricultural operations, and other commercial feed customers requiring bulk feed solutions.

This is a full-time, field-based position with travel throughout the Brazos Valley and surrounding areas (generally within a 100-mile radius).

Primary Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new bulk feed customers throughout the assigned territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with ranchers, livestock producers, and commercial agricultural operations
Identify customer needs and recommend feed products and nutrition solutions
Develop and execute a territory growth plan focused on long-term customer acquisition
Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify additional sales opportunities
Coordinate with operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure accurate order fulfillment and exceptional customer service
Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively resolve issues
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities
Represent the company at industry events, livestock shows, and agricultural meetings as needed
Manage travel, mileage, and expenses responsibly

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (college degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or related field is a plus)
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office

Preferred

Previous outside sales or business development experience
Experience in the livestock, cattle, feed, or agricultural industry
Knowledge of beef cattle nutrition, livestock production, or commercial feeding operations
Existing relationships within the agricultural community are a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
