Full Job Description

Allegheny Country Club has an excellent opportunity available for a Fitness Instructor/Attendant.

In this role you will (but not limited to):

The primary role of the position will provide a comprehensive range of fitness programs to our member and guests.

Responsible for assisting members and guests with general fitness inquiries and providing supervision and guidance with basic exercise principals
Demonstrate fitness knowledge through offering suggestions on variety, machine adjustment, and technique
Encourages continued training with members and guests by evaluating existing programs and modifying them with the current trends.
Create new programs to maintain interest levels of members and quests.
Maintain the highest quality standards in the fitness area
Keep all areas of the fitness floor clean and organized; wiping down the fitness center’s machines, removing towels, trash, etc.
Enforce all club and fitness policies

Qualifications & Skills:

Pursuing a degree in sports and exercise science or similar
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 pounds
Must be Red Cross certified in first aid, CPR and AED or currently obtaining
Ability to work independently, as well as to accept and follow directions on given assignments
