Job Summary

We are a rapidly-growing pediatric therapy clinic offering Speech, PT, OT, ABA, and social skills therapies. Clients are seen in schools or the clinic settings.

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement customized therapy plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional ability for pediatric patients. Your expertise will help children overcome physical challenges, enhance their quality of life, and achieve developmental milestones. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in various settings.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients to determine physical therapy needs, including assessments of physiology and anatomy knowledge.
Develop individualized care plans that incorporate discharge planning, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as trigger point therapy to optimize patient outcomes.
Implement treatment sessions utilizing physiotherapy techniques tailored for children with diverse conditions such as orthopedics, geriatrics (for older pediatric populations), and neurological impairments.
Manage patient progress through detailed documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate tracking of care plans and outcomes.
Educate families and caregivers on home & community care practices to support ongoing recovery and development outside clinical settings.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and ensure holistic care delivery.

Experience

Outpatient clinic experience working with children across various developmental stages and conditions.
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and specialized therapies such as trigger point therapy for musculoskeletal issues.
Experience in discharge planning and creating effective care plans that support long-term recovery goals.
Strong background in pediatrics
