I believe strongly in investing in my team.
Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent nine years as a team member myself. I understand what it's like to sit on your side of the desk, learn the business, develop sales skills, and build a career in this industry. That experience has shaped the way I run my agency. My goal isn't simply to hire someone to fill a position. I want to help the right person develop their skills, become highly successful, and build a long-term career.
You'll receive hands-on coaching along with proven sales systems and processes developed through more than 25 years of insurance industry experience.

What You'll Do

Build relationships with prospective customers and develop new business for the agency.
Conduct customer-focused, needs-based conversations to identify insurance and financial service needs.
Educate customers about appropriate insurance options rather than simply selling individual products.
Follow up consistently with prospects and customers using established agency sales processes.
Provide prompt, accurate and friendly service when assisting customers with coverage questions, billing, policy changes and other needs.
Use proven agency systems and processes to manage opportunities and follow-up.
Work toward individual and agency sales goals while contributing to a positive team environment.
Take ownership of your results and bring a strong work ethic to the office every day.

Compensation & Benefits

As a member of our team, you'll receive:

Base salary: $50,000–$75,000, depending on experience and qualifications
Uncapped commissions in addition to base salary
Quarterly and annual bonuses
Expected first-year total compensation: $60,000–$90,000+
Top performer potential: $100,000+
Competitive guaranteed base pay

Opportunity to work for one of the top 50 State Farm agents in the country, out of 19,000 agencies total.
Monday–Friday schedule. No weekends

Previous sales experience is preferred, but insurance experience is not required for the right candidate. We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, communication skills and desire to grow.
