The Operating Room Nurse Educator will report to the Director of Perioperative Services and collaborate closely with the OR Nurse Manager, Anesthesia leadership, and Surgical Service Line Chiefs, while the RN Surgery Educator will enjoy strong onboarding, protected education time, certification support, and access to simulation labs; responsibilities for the Perioperative Nurse Educator include curriculum design, preceptor development, orientation for new-to-specialty nurses, skills labs, policy updates, quality initiatives, and readiness for new technologies, all within a friendly, team-centered environment of diverse nurses, surgeons, techs, pharmacists, therapists, and APPs who value respect, autonomy, and shared success.
