Full Job Description

Hiring Staff Acupuncturist

We are seeking a bright and engaging acupuncturist who is excited to work in a high-volume practice. The position is part-time (2-3 days a week to start) with the option to add hours as shifts fill.

Our team is focused on providing high-quality care on a flexible sliding scale. We find joy in making acupuncture affordable and accessible to our community, and are looking for another team member who shares this mission.

Duties

Treating 5 patients per hour in recliners in an open community setting
Establishing rapport with patients quickly, with minimal talking
Being warm and welcoming to all kinds of people
Efficiently diagnosing patients and devising treatment plans
Remaining aware of the needs of multiple patients and shifting priorities in the community treatment room
Communicating with co-workers clearly and consistently, including patient charting
Maintaining a high level of confidentiality

Requirements:

A valid Colorado state acupuncture license
Belief in the mission and values of our clinic
Ability to attract and retain sufficient regular patients to fill assigned shifts
Willingness to learn and practice meridian-based, distal point treatment strategies
Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clinic staff and volunteers
