The Post-Cultivation Lead supports daily post-harvest operations by coordinating harvesting, drying, trimming, curing, and inventory activities while helping ensure production goals, quality standards, and compliance requirements are consistently met.
Working closely with the Cultivation Manager, this role provides day-to-day leadership to the Post-Cultivation team by coordinating daily work, supporting employee training, maintaining quality standards, and assisting with production planning and inventory management. This hands-on leadership position plays a key role in delivering operational excellence while preserving the premium quality Green Dot Labs is known for.
This role is regularly scheduled to work Friday through Monday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., providing consistent four-day workweeks while supporting weekend cultivation operations.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the Post-Cultivation team

Assign daily work related to harvesting, drying, trimming, curing, testing, transfers, sorting, and quality control

Train, coach, and mentor team members on post-cultivation processes, quality standards, and safe work practices

Support onboarding and development of new team members

Assist with production planning, department meetings, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support weekly harvesting activities including de-leafing, removing plants from canopy, hanging plants on drying racks, shucking, packaging, and weighing harvested material

Ensure harvested cannabis is handled with care to maintain product quality and prevent contamination

Perform quality control, sorting, qualifying, and hand manicuring of dried flower to company standards

Monitor drying rooms, harvest rooms, storage areas, and freezers to ensure proper environmental conditions

Identify and communicate production issues affecting quality, yield, or operational efficiency

Maintain accurate production logs and post-cultivation records
- Maintain accurate inventory records and production documentation using Metrc

Support harvest batch tracking, testing, transfers, waste reporting, and inventory reconciliation

Assist with internal and external compliance audits

Follow all state regulations and internal compliance procedures

Ensure accurate production reporting while supporting operational compliance
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary post-cultivation workspaces

Support facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and special projects

Assist with waste handling and destruction procedures

Follow all PPE, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements

Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, or post-cultivation cannabis production required

Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred

Experience with Metrc and inventory management preferred

Experience with Microsoft Excel and production reporting preferred

Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain all required state-issued cannabis industry credentials applicable to the position and work location

This role is primarily onsite in Denver, CO and typically works a 40-hour schedule, including weekends and overtime as business needs require.
The position requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Employees must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds and safely work around cultivation and post-cultivation equipment, cannabis products, humidity, drying environments, and cleaning materials. Required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye protection, face coverings, hearing protection, hair nets, and other required safety equipment, must be worn while performing assigned duties.
