Global Resource Engineering is currently looking for a Junior Hydrogeologist /Water Resource Engineer/ Environmental Scientist position with the desire to be part of a growing engineering group in Golden, Colorado. Work will include hydrogeologic and hydrologic field work, hydrogeologic and hydrologic modeling, and water related-engineering and analysis.
The Ideal Candidate would have some (but not all) of the following:
- Degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- An EIT is preferred.
- 3-7 years of progressive experience in hydrogeology and water resource engineering or water environmental science. An ideal candidate will have some of the following:
- Experience with hydrogeologic field work including aquifer testing, well installation, and packer testing.
- Experience in any of the following: water balances, surface water flow modeling, surface water management system design, and other essential hydrology-related tasks.
- Experience in aquifer test analysis
- Experience in groundwater modeling.
- Good Excel skills.
- Experience with GoldSim
- AutoCad skills are preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An interest in investigating and solving the water resource issues which are often the single-greatest challenge of mineral resource projects.
- Bilingual or proficiencies in Spanish is preferred.
- Passport is required for international travel programs.

In compliance with Colorado law, this job offers the following:
- Minimum salary of $70,000-80,000/year, higher for more-experienced candidates
- 401k matching
- 50% employee payment of health insurance, vision insurance, and dental insurance. Additional dependents are not subsidized by GRE.
- Eligible for performance and profit sharing bonus
- Paid time off (PTO) based on experience.
- Nine designated paid holidays.
