Access Plus is looking for an experienced Personal Lines Underwriter & Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key part of delivering exceptional service to our member agents, managing underwriting processes, and supporting the training and development of member agents. What You’ll Do
Underwriting & New Business
- Manage underwriting processes and quoting needs, reviewing existing policies and assisting member agents with inquiries.
- Underwrite and write new business for member agents, contributing to the growth of the member agent’s and company’s client base.
Member Agent Training
- Support the onboarding and training of member agents, providing guidance on underwriting processes, system usage, and company procedures to ensure agents are equipped to serve their clients effectively.
- Take an active role in developing member agents by sharing expertise and best practices to support their growth and effectiveness.
Communication & Relationships
- Process member agent’s requests efficiently, answer inquiries promptly (same day or next day by phone/email), and maintain open communication to build strong relationships.
Data & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in our CRM, monitor assigned tasks, and provide complete information to internal teams as needed.
- Generate reports as required, assisting with data analysis to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
Problem-Solving & Teamwork
- Proactively identify and resolve member agent’s concerns, collaborating with colleagues to find solutions that meet their needs.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to achieve shared objectives and foster a professional and respectful work environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Active Colorado P&C License.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
- Experience with management systems such as Epic or similar software.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
