Description:
Join a Growing Team. Help People Start New Careers.
The CDL School is growing, and we’re looking for energetic, organized, people-oriented professionals to join our Admissions team in Colorado Springs.
We are a leading provider of commercial driver training in Eastern Colorado, helping students build the skills and credentials they need to enter the transportation industry. As we continue to grow, we have multiple opportunities available for people who want to grow with us.
You do not need years of admissions experience to succeed here.
We are interested in both experienced candidates and people earlier in their careers who bring the right combination of communication skills, energy, organization, customer service, and willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
As an Admissions Coordinator, you’ll often be one of the first people a prospective student encounters at The CDL School.
You’ll work alongside our Admissions team to help prospective students understand their options, schedule appointments, complete the admissions process, and take the next step toward CDL training.
This is a customer-facing role that combines communication, follow-up, organization, and administrative support. You’ll spend time talking with prospective students by phone, text, electronically, and in person.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Respond to inbound calls, inquiries, and walk-in prospective students.
-
Conduct outbound calls, appointment confirmations, text messages, and other follow-up communications.
-
Help prospective students understand our CDL training programs and the admissions process.
-
Schedule appointments and accurately track appointment activity, including shows and no-shows.
-
Support Admissions Advisors with prospective students as they move from initial inquiry toward enrollment.
-
Greet prospective students, current students, and guests professionally.
-
Assist applicants with paperwork and collect required admissions documentation.
-
Enter, upload, scan, and maintain accurate applicant and student information.
-
Submit appropriate financing and loan documentation for processing.
-
Maintain enrollment records and assist with collection of applicable payments and application fees.
-
Support preparation of training rosters, student schedules, and internal appointments.
-
Maintain organized paper and electronic student files.
-
Work closely with Admissions, Training, Finance, and other team members to create a smooth student experience.
-
Participate in meetings, training, and occasional company activities as required.
-
Take on additional responsibilities as the organization grows.
A Position With a Career Path
We don’t view the Admissions Coordinator position as simply an administrative job.
For the right person, it can be the starting point for a career in Admissions and student recruiting at The CDL School.
High-performing Admissions Coordinators who demonstrate strong communication skills, reliability, initiative, organization, and the ability to work successfully with prospective students may be considered for advancement to an Admissions Advisor position following successful completion of the introductory/probationary period.
As the company continues to grow, we expect opportunities for capable people to grow with it.

Experience in admissions, recruiting, sales, customer service, call centers, education, hospitality, administrative support, or other customer-facing positions can be valuable.
