Planner Analyst

The Water Work Management team is seeking a Planner Analyst to plan, schedule, and perform analyses for workgroups in Water Work Management. This position directly impacts the reliability of our support services and our organization's ability to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective services to our customers. Initially, successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple programs of work (including but not limited to) Directional Drilling & Restoration. Successful candidates in this role will build productive cross-functional relationships and promote a positive, collaborative work environment, focusing on identifying and implementing best practices to create organizational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, review, and analyze work orders and projects.
Estimate labor, equipment, and material requirements and costs.
Conduct field inspections and job scoping activities.
Coordinate with crews, contractors, and stakeholders on project execution.
Research and secure materials and resources needed for project completion.
Maintain rolling schedules and support long-range capital project planning.
Monitor performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
Prepare reports, charts, and dashboards for management.
Maintain accurate records in Maximo and other work management systems.
Build strong cross-functional relationships and foster collaboration.

Who You Are

Experience with construction processes, utility operations, or work management.
Proficiency in Maximo and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Power BI.
Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Field experience, utility apprenticeship, water industry certifications, and/or a college degree are preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (1/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary only if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other criteria are met.
Positions in this class typically require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, workspace restrictions and intense noises.
