Licensed Aesthetician
Aurora Medical Spa - Columbia, MO
Applies to: Licensed Aestheticians in Missouri - active license required
Use case: Full-time skincare provider at our Columbia, MO location
Purpose
Aurora Medical Spa has an immediate opening for a Licensed Aesthetician at our Columbia, MO location. We're looking for a skincare professional who is serious about results, genuinely invested in their clients' skin health, and ready to grow within a practice that has spent nearly two decades setting the standard for medical aesthetics in Missouri.
About Aurora Medical Spa - Columbia
Columbia is a city that embraces wellness - and Aurora has been its trusted aesthetic home since 2022.
Aurora Medical Spa was founded in 2006 in Des Peres, MO - and spent nearly two decades building a reputation for clinical excellence, genuine client care, and a team culture that actually lives up to its values. Our Columbia location opened in 2022, bringing that same standard to Mid-Missouri. We're newer to this market, but we're not new to this work.
Columbia is a city that embraces wellness, values expertise, and rewards authenticity - and that's exactly what Aurora delivers. Our clients here do their research, ask good questions, and return when they see real results. Our aestheticians don't just perform treatments; they become trusted partners in their clients' long-term skincare journeys.
Aurora is a certified Great Place to Work®, and our Columbia team reflects that fully. Collaboration, mutual respect, and genuine investment in each other's growth aren't aspirational values here - they're how we actually operate day to day.
This is a role for someone who wants more than a treatment room and a schedule. Aurora Columbia offers real mentorship, advanced training, and a team culture that makes the hard days easier and the great days even better.
About the Role
This is a full-time, in-person position performing advanced skincare treatments for Aurora's established Columbia clientele. You will carry out individualized consultations, design and deliver customized treatment plans, and serve as the primary skincare relationship for a growing book of clients who rely on your expertise.
We're not looking for someone to fill a seat - we're looking for someone who wants to build something. A loyal client base. A reputation in the Columbia market. A career that grows with a brand people trust.
Active Missouri Aesthetician license is required. Cosmetology licensure alone does not qualify for this position.
How We Invest in Your Growth
Aurora's commitment to provider development is built into how we operate - not treated as an afterthought.
What You Can Expect
- Structured, hands-on clinical onboarding from your very first week at our Columbia location
- Ongoing access to advanced skincare technologies, treatment protocols, and professional product education
- Formal continuing education and development opportunities throughout your tenure
- Direct mentorship from experienced Aurora providers - both in Columbia and across our broader clinical network
- Leadership that prioritizes your long-term development, not just your first 90 days
Who Is the Right Fit

Client-Committed
You build trust through consistency, honesty, and follow-through. Your clients refer people to you because of how you make them feel - educated, cared for, and confident in their results.
Professionally Grounded
You show up prepared, communicate clearly with your team, and take ownership of your role in the overall client experience. You don't need to be managed - you need to be supported.
Growth-Oriented
You see this position as a career move, not a stop along the way. You're interested in advancing your skills, taking on more responsibility over time, and growing with a team that's growing too.
