In the realm of facial aesthetics and hair restoration, Prime Facial Plastic Surgery emerges as an institute aimed at redefining the landscape of transformative beauty. Schedule:

Tuesday 8AM - 5PM

Wednesday 11AM-7PM

Thursday 8AM - 5PM

Arrival/departure subject to change depending on OR schedule

Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN)– Operating Room & Clinic

Pay: $40–45

Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support both our operating room and clinical team. This unique role combines perioperative nursing (pre-op, scrubbing into surgery, circulating, and PACU) with hands-on clinical care/med spa services.

On surgery days, you'll work closely with our surgeon and surgical team through all phases of patient care, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative assistance, and post-anesthesia recovery. On clinic days, you'll assist with patient visits, in-office procedures, post-operative care, and practice operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys variety, values personalized patient care, and is interested in expanding their experience in facial plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine.

Responsibilities

Operating Room

Assist with pre-operative patient preparation and assessments
Scrub into surgery as a primary or secondary assist
Circulating during surgical procedures
Provide PACU care and post-operative monitoring
Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile operating room environment
Assist with instrument setup, sterilization, and turnover between cases

Clinical Patient Care

Assist with in-office procedures and aesthetic treatments
Room patients and manage timely flow of provider's schedule
Perform clinical photography and videography
Provide post-operative suture removal, drain removal, and wound care; and/or performing blood draws or preparing syringes for aesthetic treatments
Assist provider with surgical pre-op appointments by educating patients on pre/post-operative instructions, reviewing medications and medical history, obtaining signed surgical consents, and documenting pharmacy, surgery transportation and aftercare

Clinical Operations

Be the lead for inventory management
Prepare exam/procedure rooms
Sterilize instruments using an autoclave
Restock exam/procedure rooms, operating suite, and PACU
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
Support patient flow and assist with front desk or operating room communication as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of operating room experience, including Pre-Op, OR, and/or PACU (required)
Surgical scrubbing experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to arrange reference calls with former managers prior to receiving an offer of employment
Ability to commute to Columbia, MD 21044
