Full Job Description

MidwayUSA, in Columbia, MO is a privately held eCommerce company in the Outdoor industry. We are looking for a Product Specialist for our Clothing, Footwear & Marketplaces category who will work with a Merchandising Manager to serve our Customers by selecting products and building relationships with our Suppliers. If you want a career in the outdoor industry, MidwayUSA might be the place for you!

About the Role

Select products according to established category budget & overall company budget
Develop relationships with Suppliers
Review Supplier Performance metrics & suggest & implement measures to drive improvement
Product benchmarking, including selling price, promotions, product offering, and product information.
Create promotional events at the direction of the Merchandising Manager

About You

You will have a bachelor’s degree as it is required (Business, Marketing or related field preferred)
You will have 1-3 years applicable professional experience (preferred)
You will be a user of MidwayUSA's core products and have a passion for shooting, hunting and the outdoors
You will have excellent product and technical knowledge
You will have excellent creative writing skills
You must have the ability and desire to learn and implement new ideas
You must be a team player with a positive attitude
