Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Live Sound Technician to elevate our live event experiences through expert audio engineering and sound reinforcement. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio systems to ensure pristine sound quality during live performances, conferences, and special events. Your technical proficiency in sound design, audio mixing, and equipment operation will be vital in delivering seamless audio experiences that captivate audiences. Responsibilities

Set up and configure live sound systems, including audio mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and signal processing equipment for various events.
Operate live sound equipment during performances or events, ensuring optimal sound quality and volume levels.
Troubleshoot technical issues with audio systems quickly and efficiently to minimize disruptions during live events.
Collaborate with event organizers, performers, and production teams to understand specific audio requirements and deliver tailored sound solutions.
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all sound reinforcement systems and related equipment.
Record live audio for post-production purposes using digital audio workstation (DAW) software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid when applicable.
Assist with videography, filming, and content creation tasks related to event coverage or promotional materials.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating live sound engineering equipment in a professional setting.
Strong knowledge of audio systems, including audio mixing consoles, signal processing devices, and sound reinforcement systems.
Familiarity with digital audio workstation (DAW) software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid for editing and post-production tasks.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues swiftly to ensure uninterrupted performance quality.
Experience with video production techniques including videography, filming, editing, and content creation is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
Technical proficiency in handling live event AV production projects from setup through execution.
