Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements

Must-Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelors degree (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skillsboth written and verbal
Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn
Ability to work in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment
Comfortable making outbound calls and meeting with clients
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and CRM tools
Must be able to obtain state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident)

Nice-to-Haves (but not required)

Sales, customer service, or retail experience
Experience working in a performance-based or commission-influenced role
Community involvement or leadership background

Responsibilities

Sales & Client Support

Learn how to identify customer insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
Assist in generating new business through outbound calls, community networking, and digital outreach
Provide exceptional service to prospective and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention
Shadow experienced agents during client meetings, policy reviews, and consultations
Follow up with leads, schedule appointments, and track pipeline progress using CRM tools

Training & Licensing

Participate in structured on-the-job training and mentorship programs
Attend regular coaching sessions and team workshops to improve sales and product knowledge
Stay up to date on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance regulations

Office & Operational Support

Assist with preparing quotes, processing applications, and managing client documentation
Learn to navigate agency software and underwriting systems
Support agency marketing efforts including email campaigns, events, and social media outreach
Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the agencys standards of professionalism
