Join our Human Resources team in an entry-level recruitment role where you will play a key part in supporting the hiring of healthcare professionals and healthcare support staff. In this position, you will perform a variety of professional Human Resources functions with a primary focus on recruitment, managing a diverse mix of high-volume and professional-level positions across the organization. As the Recruiter- Early Careers, you will partner closely with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to attract, screen, interview, and hire top talent for a wide range of critical healthcare roles. Your recruitment portfolio will include high-volume positions as well as specialized healthcare professionals. By building strong candidate pipelines and maintaining efficient recruitment processes, you will help ensure our organization is staffed with skilled employees who provide exceptional patient care and support services.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
- Review applications and resumes to determine the appropriate qualifications, education, and experience of candidates. Refer applications to departments for review.
- Conduct employment interviews; discuss employment history, verify appropriate licensure, certifications, and/or registrations, clarify references from present and previous employers, review criminal background history, and discuss applicable benefits with candidates.
- Remain knowledgeable about recruitment and hiring best practices.
- Gather appropriate information needed to make employment offers determine appropriate salary/hourly wage, and ensure that reference checks and criminal background checks are completed.
- Contact the selected applicants with an employment offer, confirming salary, start date, and other applicable information.
- Prepare application, requisition, and all required documentation to ensure new hire files are completed, accurate, and processed promptly and forwarded to appropriate personnel for processing of payroll and benefits.
- Discuss newly approved requisitions with department representatives to ensure understanding of required and preferred qualifications, candidate expectations, and departmental process timelines.
- Discuss advertising needs with the department; create ads, maintain records of placement cost and applicants recruited via each source, verify billing for ads, and forward to the appropriate individual for payment.
- Assist in the interpretation and explanation of policies and procedures to management, employees, and applicants. May assist employees with concerns related to employee relations issues and discuss applicable resolutions such as the grievance process.
- Participate in career days, job fairs, and recruitment drives.
- Advise and train department management and personnel in interviewing techniques, recruitment procedures, union regulations, leadership, ADA, employment laws, and other related topics.
- Maintain liaison with employment agencies, colleges, and other possible recruitment sources such as professional associations regarding vacancies and other related human resources issues.
- May complete unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree.
- One (1) year of experience in a customer-facing role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, personnel management, or a related area.
- Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
