Full Job Description

<Job Overview>
Tender Hearts Health Care, LLC is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their homes. The Home Caregiver plays a vital role in supporting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

<Duties>

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by care plans.
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean environment.
Administer medication reminders ONLY.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
Document daily care activities and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and care standards.

<Qualifications>

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with mobility.
Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
