Full Job Description

Executive Construction Homes, LLC is a multi-award-winning home builder recognized by the Greater Columbia Home Builders Association, with a strong presence throughout the Columbia, SC area. We are known for delivering high-quality craftsmanship across residential subdivision development projects, including site work, land clearing, grading, erosion control, and infrastructure installation. As demand continues to grow, we remain committed to building well-crafted homes across a wide range of price points while upholding safety, efficiency, teamwork, and excellence on every job site.

We are currently seeking a Homebuilding Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of residential construction, including developing project schedules and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion. The position involves conducting regular site inspections, tracking progress and quality, and identifying any safety or construction issues that need attention. The Project Manager also coordinates closely with subcontractors to ensure all work aligns with project scope and specifications, schedules municipal inspections, and provides necessary follow-up. Additionally, this role supports warranty-related work with subcontractors and homeowners. Projects are located across Richland, Lexington, and Kershaw counties.

Responsibilities

Participate in developing and maintaining home construction schedule by using project management and scheduling software.
Conducts regular meetings with Executive Team to review project progress and to plan future construction activity.
Assist with soliciting and obtaining quotes from subcontractors and material suppliers, when required.
Assist in the execution of the construction work in conformance with the house plans through construction site quality control, subcontractor coordination, written documentation of progress and photo documentation of progress .
Expedite subcontractor’s work and delivery of materials.
Utilize task management (Monday.com) and construction management software (Mark Systems and ITK) to track project progress and maintain documentation.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality and compliance with safety regulations by performing site safety walks, promoting and enforcing safe work practices.
Facilitate effective communication among team members, subcontractors and other stakeholders (agents, buyers, inspectors) throughout the construction process.
Responsible for coordination and completion of warranty work with homeowners.

Skills

Candidates must have basic understanding and knowledge of the residential construction site operations.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with task management and construction management software such as Mark Systems (ITK), AutoCAD, Monday.com, etc is preferred.
Good problem solving skills.
Strong initiative, dependability and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication skills-- verbal and written.

Successful candidate will be working in Kershaw and Richland Counties as well as in upstate and coastal areas, as needed. Applicant needs to confirm understanding of where jobs will be located.
