Associate Director of Employee Well-Being

The Associate Director of Employee Well-Being develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive well-being programs, including challenges and training/workshops, to support employee well-being. This position plays a key role in fostering a healthy workplace culture by educating employees on well-being practices, preventative health, and behavioral change strategies aligned with organizational health goals.

Primary duties include:

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
Provide leadership and supervision to student and professional staff developing programs, marketing campaigns, and initiatives focused on impacting employee well-being.
Develop curricula and facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions for faculty and staff based on identified needs.
Manage, report, and publicize Employee Well-Being’s progress toward the achievement of unit, divisional, and university objectives.
Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including university administrators, faculty, staff, and community partners.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Master’s degree in public health, communications, or related fi eld.
4+ years of progressively responsible experience in employeewellness, including supervisory experience.
Strong understanding pf public health principles and evidence-basedcommunications and strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, includingexperience with media relations.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a face-paced environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of basic principles, practices, and theories affecting health and wellness.
Ability to establish effective working relationships and maintain positive public relations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Facilitate worksite health screening and wellness coaching appointments for faculty and staff with reporting metrics for services.
