Full Job Description

Job Summary:
Spectra, a commercial printing and fulfillment company in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced GRAPHIC DESIGNER/DATA PROCESSING qualified persona for a very important core position. We require graphice design creative services, account management, prepress abilities and skilled data management experience.

You must be able to work in a fast business enviornment working inbetween the customer and internal associates. Must posses at least a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design with a 4-year degree. REAL work experience is a plus but Spectra is willing to take on a recent graduate with an impressive GPA with these attributes.

To join our creative and business development team, you must have good character, be honorable with your word and your work, show up on time, finish the work assigned. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various design software, i.e., Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with a curious propensity to learn new software technology and data management. Must have a keen eye for detail to create visually appealing graphics and possess attention to detail in your work and attention to the customer's needs.

Responsibilities:
- Create engaging visual content for various platforms including digital and print media with a high attention to detail guided by superb organizational skills and responsibility for your assignments.

- Data application to print is vital.
-Incorporate digital design techniques to enhance user experience in the ordering process.

-Assist in all prepress production and front end fulfillment tasks as needed
Skills:
- Strong understanding of software, data application, visual design principles, planning and organizational skills with the ability to learn new software.
