Full-Time | Friday–Sunday | Three 12-Hour Shifts

Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our inpatient behavioral health team at Pinewood Springs in Columbia, Tennessee.

This unique full-time position offers a consistent Friday through Sunday schedule, allowing you to complete your workweek in three 12-hour shifts while enjoying four days off each week.

This opportunity is ideal for a confident psychiatric advanced practice provider who enjoys inpatient care, values collaboration, and wants the stability and benefits of full-time employment with a condensed weekly schedule.

Position Highlights

Three 12-hour shifts each week
Consistent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule

Inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health setting

What You’ll Do

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments
Diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
Develop and manage individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management
Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and potential side effects
Adjust treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, social workers, case managers, and facility leadership
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
Provide patient and family education when appropriate
Support continuity of care throughout hospitalization and discharge planning
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Deliver compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered psychiatric care

Requirements:

Qualifications

Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
Current board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with psychiatric experience
Active Tennessee license
Active DEA registration
Psychiatric or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
Previous inpatient psychiatry or hospital-based experience is a plus
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while remaining actively engaged with a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to delivering high-quality mental healthcare
