Full Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to provide relationship-driven care as a Medical Assistant (MA)? Our well-established, membership-based (insurance free) primary care clinic offers a positive and supportive work environment and is looking to add a highly motived and caring MA.

At Liberty Family Medicine, our Direct Primary Care (DPC) model gives you the time and support to build meaningful relationships with patients while delivering exceptional primary care.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

· An effective communicator

· Able to use critical thinking and sound judgement when identifying patient needs, prioritizing tasks, and communicating concerns appropriately

Able to follow established protocols, provider instructions, and clinic processes with attention and consistency to detail
Efficient and team-oriented
Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
Passionate about providing high-quality patient care.

This position includes both administrative and clerical responsibilities.

Administrative duties include, but are not limited to:

Scheduling appointments
Maintaining medical records
Ordering supplies and managing inventory
Answering phone calls and returning patient messages
Maintaining clinic cleanliness and organization.

Clinic duties include providing direct patient care. Responsibilities may vary but include:

Administering medications or treatments as directed
Changing wound dressings
Obtaining and document vital signs and medical histories
Discussing medical treatment plans and therapies with patients via phone or email
Preparing patients for examination and assisting with procedures
Performing phlebotomy draws and processing laboratory specimens
Ensuring clinical equipment is properly sanitized and maintained
Supporting providers in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care.

Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. No nights or weekends.

Compensation is hourly with a range between $19.50 and $21.00 per hour to start.

Health-sharing plan coverage for the employee after 90 days of employment in good standing (coverage may be elected sooner at the employee’s expense)
Retirement plan with employer matching available after six months of employment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Highly proficient computer skills.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Medical Assistant (MA)

BLS or must obtain within the first 90 days of hire.

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
