Full Job Description

W.B. Guimarin is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our growing team. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working with an experienced crew, and want long-term career opportunities, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

Perform sheet metal fabrication and modifications
Install commercial HVAC ductwork, fittings, hangers, and air distribution systems
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Lay out duct runs and accurately measure, fabricate, and install materials
Install air handlers, VAV boxes, fans, louvers, dampers, and related HVAC equipment
Operate hand tools, power tools, soldering, and welding equipment safely
Test installed duct systems for proper fit and air leakage
Work alongside plumbers, pipefitters, welders, and HVAC technicians as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
Follow all OSHA and company safety standards

What We're Looking For

Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
Strong measuring, layout, and fabrication skills
Experience using common sheet metal hand tools and power tools
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety
