About the Opportunity
Hiring experienced Cable Technicians for residential cable, internet, fiber, coax, Ethernet, and low-voltage installation work. Both 1099 contractor and W-2 positions are available. Candidates must be reliable, customer-focused, and able to complete assigned work accurately and safely.
Responsibilities
· Install, troubleshoot, and activate cable, internet, fiber, coax, Ethernet, and low-voltage systems.
· Run, terminate, test, and verify cabling and customer equipment.
· Use meters, tools, and work-order apps to complete jobs correctly.
· Document completed work and upload required photos.
· Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and project teams.
Requirements
· Cable, fiber, broadband, satellite, low-voltage, or telecom experience preferred.
· Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation required.
· Tools, safety gear, smartphone/tablet, and work-ready vehicle required.
· Able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
· Must pass applicable background, drug screening, and customer/vendor requirements.
Position Details

· Work volume depends on demand, service area, and availability.
· Pay structure depends on classification and position type.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with residential cable, internet, fiber, or low-voltage installations.
· Experience using signal meters, cable testing tools, work-order apps, and basic networking equipment.
· Truck, van, or vehicle capable of transporting ladders and equipment.
· Professional appearance and strong customer-facing skills.
