We are a growing company specializing in sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, life safety, and related technologies. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Electrician/Technician to join our team and support all of our electrical needs.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to industrial facilities, utilizing your technical skills to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.

Responsibilities

Installation, service, and maintenance in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes (NFPA, NEC, local AHJ requirements)
Install, route, and secure low-voltage cabling (FPL, FPLR, FPLP) in commercial and industrial buildings
Bend, mount, and secure conduit (EMT, rigid, flex) as required
Pull wire through conduit, walls, ceilings, and underground pathways
Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics
Lay out and install raceways, junction boxes, backboxes, and supports
Make up and terminate wiring at switchboards, circuit breakers, panels, terminal blocks, and field devices
Mount and wire panels, power supplies, annunciators, and field devices
Label all wiring, devices, and panels according to code and company standards
Test wiring for continuity, shorts, and grounds prior to system startup
Assist with system startup and functional testing
Troubleshoot wiring issues such as opens, shorts, and ground faults
Repair or replace damaged wiring, conduit, and devices
Follow all applicable electrical codes (NFPA, NEC, local AHJ requirements)
Provide professional customer service, team guidance and communication to maintain jobs and coordinate job status, requirements, and needs.
Coordinate with project managers, team members, and other trades to ensure timely project completion
Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times
Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and materials used for project documentation
Lift 50+ lbs
Work on ladders, lifts, and in ceilings
Work in various environments (construction sites, outdoors, etc.)

Qualifications

At least 2 years proven experience as an electrician in commercial and/or industrial environments
Strong understanding of electrical systems, including both high-voltage and low-voltage applications
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC); familiarity with NFPA 72 is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
Hands-on experience with conduit bending (EMT, rigid, flex) and wire pulling methods
Proficient in terminating electrical equipment including panels, circuit breakers, and field devices
Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose electrical and wiring issues
Familiarity with construction site environments and coordination with other trades
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools required for electrical installation work
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications and instructions
Good communication and leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good time management and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
