Under the general direction of the Director of QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) and Student Services, the employee conducts intrusive advising/coaching for students, provides workshops, develops academic plans and educational goals with students, and assists in the Career Center.
Salary: Appropriate placement on Salary Schedule E4 05 ($35,390-$51,793), which is based on years of directly related full-time experience.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible, or as negotiated.
1. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
2. Work flexible hours to accommodate the students' needs.
3. Work with students in cohort-assigned classes.
4. Hold weekly meetings with assigned students and provide proactive advising in person, virtually, and electronically. Coordinates communications to students utilizing intentional advising plans that engage students regarding personal and professional goals, course scheduling, core major requirements, and academic resources.
5. Assist in the development of student success initiatives
6. Facilitate student success workshops.
7. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff.
8. Assess students' needs and refer students to the appropriate support services at the College, and assist them in scheduling appointments.
9. Develop academic plans and establish educational goals with students.
10. Interpret career assessment data to assist students in career exploration and planning.
11. Assist in the Career Center.
12. Document all services and student contacts in a timely fashion.
13. Complete and submit all federal, state, and local documents as required.
14. Assist with student advising, registration, pre-college orientation, and retention of students.
15. Serve on various College committees as assigned.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of QEP and Student Success, the Associate Dean of Student Development and Success, the Dean of Students and Campus Services, or the President.

7. Recruit potential students, both traditional and nontraditional, to the College, and assist in retention efforts.
8. Represent the institution in a positive manner.
9. Participate in registration, pre-college orientation (NSE), and other college events as assigned.
10. Serve on committees as assigned.
11. Participate in graduation and other college activities.
12. Participate in the College's planning process

One (1) year of full-time experience in education, student personnel, counseling, or a related field.
