Georgia Express Mobility LLC is expanding its non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) operations in the Columbus, Georgia market.
We provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation for seniors, individuals with disabilities, patients traveling to medical appointments, and healthcare-related destinations.
We are currently building our Columbus-area driver network and are looking for dependable, professional transportation providers who take pride in providing excellent customer service.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Independent NEMT Transportation Provider, you will provide scheduled transportation for passengers traveling to and from medical appointments, healthcare facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals, senior-care facilities, and other approved destinations.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, helping others, and providing dependable transportation services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled medical appointments and healthcare facilities.
- Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate customer service.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate.
- Properly secure mobility devices and wheelchairs when applicable.
- Follow assigned pickup and drop-off instructions.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, cancellations, and completed trips.
- Maintain professional communication with passengers, facilities, caregivers, and Georgia Express Mobility staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable vehicle.
- Complete required trip documentation accurately.
- Follow all company transportation procedures and applicable laws.
- Protect passenger privacy and maintain confidentiality.
- Report vehicle or passenger safety concerns immediately.
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
To be considered, you must:
- Have a valid Georgia driver's license.
- Have a reliable vehicle that meets company requirements, if using your own vehicle.
- Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Successfully complete the required background screening.
- Have a reliable smartphone capable of using GPS and transportation/dispatch applications.
- Be dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Have excellent customer-service and communication skills.
- Be comfortable transporting seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Be willing to complete required onboarding and training.
- Follow all Georgia Express Mobility safety and operating procedures.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
NEMT experience is preferred but not required.
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Non-emergency medical transportation

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
Depending on the transportation assignment, Georgia Express Mobility may accept qualified:
- 4-door sedans
- SUVs
- Vans
- Wheelchair-accessible vehicles
Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are especially encouraged to apply.
Vehicle approval is subject to Georgia Express Mobility requirements and inspection/verification procedures.
COMPENSATION
Independent Contractor / 1099 opportunity
Compensation is based on the transportation assignment, route, trip type, and applicable company rate structure.
Opportunities may include:

- Higher-volume transportation opportunities for dependable providers
Compensation will be explained during the onboarding process and may vary by assignment.
