Gregory Construction is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Project Controls Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, Mississippi.
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, comfortable working with data and technology, and eager to learn how construction projects are planned, tracked, and managed.
You’ll work alongside experienced Project Controls Coordinators and report to the Project Controls Manager. You’ll also interact regularly with Project Managers, field teams, and other departments throughout the company.
Construction or project controls experience is helpful, but it is not required. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
As a Project Controls Coordinator, you’ll help our teams understand how projects are performing and provide accurate, timely information that helps them make better decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:

Collecting project information from field personnel and entering it into project management systems and databases

Preparing reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and tracking tools for project teams and leadership

Working with Project Managers and project teams to track quantities of completed work

Helping calculate and monitor project production and performance metrics

Identifying potential production shortfalls, labor-hour overages, and cost concerns

Maintaining accurate, organized project records and historical data
-
Coordinating information between field teams, Project Managers, and internal departments

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Project Controls and Processes Division

Helping improve departmental processes, systems, workflows, and controls

Assisting other Coordinators and the Project Controls Manager with departmental projects and initiatives
