Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial reports to support decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of both governmental and technical accounting practices.

Duties

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial statements.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and budget forecasts.
Utilize Quickbooks software for bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
Conduct 10 key typing for data entry tasks with precision.
Assist in governmental accounting procedures as required by regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational decisions.
Maintain organized financial records for easy access and audit purposes.

Experience

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of debits and credits, as well as technical accounting principles.
Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus.
Proficiency in Quickbooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Strong written communication skills for effective financial report writing.
